Two fun versions of the same song!
I like to use the first one with K or 1st grade with Melody: Up and Down. The contour of the melody of this one lends itself to going up and down a hill. It can be helpful to play the melody on a step glockenspiel.
This version is fun to add motions to. It lends itself to marching around the room and tip toe on "when you're up" and bending the knees on "when you're down"...
On the "hunting we will go," march with a hand shielding the sun from your eyes, as if you're looking for a fox.
